Hello everyone!
I have been working as a freelance translator for the last 3 years and I'd like to immigrate to Canada (Toronto, to be precise), under the Self-Employed Persons Program (part of the Business Immigration Program).
I'm aware that, at least in my country, this process takes about 2 years and within that time I'd like to go to Montreal to study French for about a year and come back once I'm done.
So, these are my questions:
-Can I apply for a Self-employed visa first and right away apply for a Study permit?
-Would it affect my chances for obtaining the "Self-Employed visa"?
Thanks in advance for you help. =D
