Stupid WES Document Request - Misplaced Documents?

I received a weird document request from the WES today. As per request they need my degree to be sent to them whereas I have already sent them Degree and the transcript both in a single SEALED envelop attested and sealed by Higher education commission, Islamabad, Pakistan.

I am worried and I do not know what to tell them now? It is simply impossible that they received my transcript but didnt got my degree as both the documents were sealed in one single envelop.

Guys please suggest me what should I reply to them now? There is no chance that I can go to HEC office once again (Which is far away from the place I live) then get the copy of degree attestest once again and then send them over to WES. Apart of lots of money I would need to do it again, I think I do not have much time left now to re-start the process.

Btw I sent them documents on 22nd. Reached there 25th April. No action till 30th when I opted for 3 day rush service. Status then turned into evaluation in process and today morning I have this email in my inbox... and status has now turned back to Waiting for documents

aahhh any idea what to do????

Same happened with my husband docs... We don't understand what to do.. they said we have to send again. And its near to impossible cz its private university ... They don't even talk to students directly..

Had you sent them copy of the degree or original degree, ....I guess you had sent them copy of the degree and now they are asking for original, is it so !
Secondly, your transcripts were to be verified by the concerned university's Controller of Examinations and sealed in the University envelop by them and set to WES either by Uni or yourself. Can't get,...when you say it's HEC who have attested and sent in their sealed envelop !!

No for Pakistan institures, they have mentioned to get the degree+ transcript both attested by Higher Education Commission (HEC).

I dont know till now what went wrong with my documents. I have emailed them but no response yet. Tried to call but no one attended the call after a long hold of about 1 hours

I am sure WES must be extremely loaded with sudden rush of applications. And one should not forget that there can be blemishes on their part while handling such a huge load which they have to release within a very short time too. I hope they deliver as per their claims, and it does turn out to be a cheap gimmick to gain the business at the end. This immigration phenomenon has really become a huge revenue generation machine for the Canadian government. Best of luck guys.

Dear Friend ,

There is some misunderstanding at your part. First understand, From Pakistan, You don't need to send the originals to WES. You only need to send the attested photocopies of Degree & transcript to WES in a sealed envelope from HEC. If you have sent this already, and they are asking for originals, then first call them and check, no matter you have to wait on the phone for 1 hr or 2 hr, just talk to them and clear the matter, before sending any originals to WES. Just talk to them and ask them what they want over the phone.

Same thing happened with me. They accepted my transcript but current status shows degree certificate not received. This is strange because i remember placing it in the envelope myself. When i callled them i got the reply that they have information that it is not received and i need to send it again. No sealing and stamping required this tine though.
