Studying in PRIVATE COlleges ???

My study permit is expiring on 31 dec 2012, jst wanted to knw that if i drop frm my current college which is a Community College(Centennial College) and take admission in sum PRIVATE COllege, so Am I eligible to apply for STUDY PERMIT EXTENSION ...? I've heard that International students cannot study in private colleges, bcoz CIC do not extend study permit of International students studying in Private Colleges ??? is this correct?? pls help////

Which private college are you considering? Hopefully you realize that students attending many private colleges do not qualify for off campus work permits or PGWP. Private colleges also typically have much lower reputations with employers than public colleges. I would stay with the public college.
