Let's say I get accepted and they ask for my passport , how long will it take to get my passport back ? Do they send it to Canada or something ?

I heard that some people get it back in 2 or 3 days, but I'm not sure if its the same in cairo.
no they don't send it to canada or anywhere else... they stamp it in cairo
but did you get medical call or you've done upfront medical??

Processing for student visas via Cairo is presently quoted at 6 weeks.

but its up to 6 weeks and thats why we hope to get it in 4 months
and I think because TRV takes 33 days so they will issue sp in about the same period

I do not think we need medical test , I have checked a list on cic website and it says you do not need to present any medical thing since you are from Egypt.

I think they have precised that you should get it (within) 6 weeks , not 16 ?

I applied on july 16 and today My status changed at 4 pm to passport dispatched
and yes it was a study permit,, Windsor University MEng program

No I didn't ya5la3 I was at the cinema watching Ted 2

but still didn't get any approval email and I hope tomorrow I'll get it!
