Dear Sir/Madam,
I am express entry applicant and I pass the eligibility. I filed this profile september 2015 and got an expression of interest for PNP from Ontario state. I submitted my first set of documents to ONIP back in october 2015 and again the next set of required documents in February 2016. I am yet to hear anything from their side and this is taking too long.

So my question is can I apply for a 2year course in Ontario and join there as a foreign student without any conflict with this Express Entry processing. I don't want to waste my time in vain, that is why I am seeking your expertise advice. I have three questions:
1. Is it possible to study in canada while being in the express entry pool and being reviewed by ONIP?

2.What will happen if I qualify for this PNP and PR application while I am still studying in Canada (with the course ongoing)?

3.Will there be a situation that I won't be able to apply for PR after receiving ITA because I am doing this course there on students visa?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thank You.

One of the pre conditions for study visa is to prove to the satisfaction of VO that the foreign national would leave the country after study. Officer may feel like you are jumping the wait time for PR processing and are only getting visa for entering the country earlier and won't finish your course. Having said that, you can write a compelling letter with your study visa application that you want to advance your career and would be in much better situation in terms of employability after finishing your studies.

Your existing PR app won't be impacted by any of this . Good luck .

Thank you very much for your time and your answer. I have another question about the success rate of ONIP program. Would you suggest me to wait for this express entry to go through or would u recommend to pick up a 2year course?

The student visa is for 5yrs na, 2years for course and another 3 as stayback. So if this PR happens to come that will be inbetween this na? So will there be a problem with this visa or some other problem like one can't really file for PR due to student visa status??

And can you give me an approximate time from here on that i may get pr including waiting period for that 600 point by ONIP. Don't feel bad, I myself know even CIC won't be able to tell a time for stage1 and stage2. The question came out of my curiosity and pressure mounting due to this endless process of express entry. Any possible figures.

Given your situation, I would strongly suggest to save your money and just wait for PR application to get through. Don't waste money on diplomas, they are not very helpful in getting a job, still if you want, try a good Masters program from a reputed University. Coming to Canada as PR would save you from so much hassles. So just sit back, enjoy home and get ready for new beginning in Canada. Don't put your money in diplomas. Do diploma in your home country. Both have same value.

Wait for PR, then do whatever you like study or work.

This is my current status.
Express entry profile created: September 5, 2015
Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) received: September 11, 2015
Documents submitted to ONIP: October 20, 2015
Additional documents requested by ONIP: February 2, 2016
Additional documents emailed to ONIP: February 28, 2016

And from then on there is no contact or updates from ONIP. I am really worried here as it is taking too much time.
So I request experts of the forum to guide me. What should I do now, it already 4 months and counting since document submission. Waiting for your expertise advice.

Thank You

My family and relatives are really pushing me to take up studies. That what is really adding the problem.

One big question to members of this site who gained PR using ONIP, HOW LONG WILL I HAVE TO WAIT WITH THESE STATS???

Looking forward to hearing from you guys.

Thank You
