my son study visa got reject this week after 1 month of process. he was applying for a diploma in Montreal, fee fully paid for 1 year, enough finical proof and real estate property to show back home in India and in UAE. the SOP was very detail and to the objective of study purpose.

his visa was rejected, for following reason

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the limited employment prospects in your country of residence.

We are preparing to reapply with strong SOP, any suggestion?

He has every reason given for refusal. Order GCMS notes? What is his profile? Is it a private college and one that was under investigatioN? He doesn’t live in his home country so what are his ties to it? What are his job prospects in India? You say enough funds but does he.

Looks quite bad. The only reason not included is about poor academic history (marksheets, transcripts, english proficiency etc). Did you apply yourself or you used a consultant? How old is your son and why did he apply for diploma instead of a bachelor's (assuming this is first post-secondary study).

He has applied to a designated (DLI)collage in Montreal. He is staying in UAE currently. He doesn't have funds of his own but I would be fully sponsoring his studies and expenses. the only mistake we did was didn't mention strong ties in India. like who all family members are staying in India like his grand parents etc.

But we will correct this in the reapplication

I applied through a consultant. His age is 21. he applied for diploma coz he wanted to learn that specific trade and apply to run my business in UAE.

You should definitely apply for the GCMS notes before you reapply as you have a big hurdle to jump through. I asked about the use of consultant because your story has the hallmark of common Indian consultants - young person applying for diploma in a college when they could easily get admission in public universities.

What business do you run? What diploma course does your son need in order to run your business? Diploma qualification is hardly sufficient to run a business. Moreover, if the sole purpose was to run your business, he doesn't need a Canadian education at all - he just needs to shadow you to gain hands-in experience.

Ties to India are not grandparents. Ties are job, properties and investments etc. What program?

do you advice to change the SOP, as in the SOP it was mention that my Son will return back after his studies and help me in the business.

Definitely make changes in the SOP when you receive the GCMS notes and provide explanation for the refusal reasons. As @Naturgrl said, they will just say why can’t you train him and not spend so much money on a Canadian education, you can explain it by saying that your son doing that particular program will learn about (talk about the courses in his program) which would help enhance your business or expand it etc. make a story around that and how that education & its exposure will help him in his career (but explain in a sophisticated way) It’s not impossible.

Is this a private college or public like McGill or Concordia. Big issue may be that he is 21 and taking a diploma so assume he has an undergrad degree. Notes take about a month.

its a private collage DLI listed collage.
Does have have an undergrad? Is it one of the colleges that were being investigated and under suspension for international students. Quebec just announced a review of all private colleges as they cater to international students. If so, your son should apply to a public college.

no its Diploma course (AEC), which is for 2 year duration in International Trade. The collage doesn't have Undergrad program. The collage name is TAV in Montreal.
