I had applied for study visa first with Project Management at Centennial College, which is relevant to my previous track record. Embassy rejected my study visa with reason
"Your proposed studies is not in light with one or more of : your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment ,language abilities,or future prospects and plans."

I have Bachelor of Engineering degree , my studies were in Information Technology,i have 3 years experience working in Information Technology field, I have scored 7 band in IELTS with 6.5 and above in all the bands.

We though it was a mistake made by them so applied again, But they refused with the same reason. So this time i changed the college to Seneca, Project Management Information Technology. The Centennial Project Management course was a general one. But Seneca Project Management in IT was specialized for my field Information Technology, still they rejected with the same reason which does not make sense. I am meeting all the requirements.

Experts, Kindly please help as soon as possible as my course starts in January 2015. :(

Please suggest if i should apply again or go for a different course and apply?? and will rejections affect my chances visa for other countries.

Consider other options without wasting time. My visa got rejected and they provided the same reason as yours. I got 7 Bands overall.

Hi,
I also got rejection with almost same reason.i also got admission in centennial college in pgd HRM.m going to apply again wd strong sop nect week for jan intake 2015.

sorry to hear that.
this may be a little bit hard to swallow but :

U said that u have a bachelor of engineering degree, and you are applying to colleges for diploma course ? the visa officers are going to question about your actual intentions of travelling to canada. Bachelor degree is far greater in weight than diploma , so , they might think that your intentions are not bonafide and you are going to canada for working, as you have been rejected more than twice, I think, you should try for USA/AUS ... and present them with strong reasons

hi hp_wolverine, Thanks you for replying.

This course is Post Graduate certification course in Project management, which has a requirement of having a degree or equivalent. And i wanted to do my PMP certifications, that's why i opted for this course which gives you required PDU's.

Thanks for your advise, more advise would be appreciated.

Oh, my bad, i didn't know that it was a post graduate course. Okay, then I think you should seek out for a BETTER KNOWN college like George Brown or Humber. Also, if u didn't submit a SOP with your previous visa applications, submit one this time for MUST. In the SOP , you could mention that, it is a very important certificate course for your career and this diploma is in light to my current education and career plan and as having this post graduate diploma would create better paying job opportunities in the country of your residence.
Best of luck.
