My profile,

12th: 63% (2020) commerce
10th: 60% (2018)
No employment history
SDS applied from India
1 year fees paid
GIC paid

IELTS score: L: 6, R:6, W:6, S:6.5, O:6

Applied for;

general business at Niagara college

file lodged date: 8 march 2022
BVL and refusal: 3 June 2022

Reasons given are;

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

• Refused under R216(1)(b). Given the applicant's previous education and/or employment history, I am not satisfied that the motivation to pursue this particular program at this point in time in Canada is reasonable.

Should I reapply?
what will be the exact reason?

I would be very greatly thankful for all the suggestions.

Order GCMS notes. Why do you need to come to Canada to take general business? Assume you don't have post-secondary so how are you justifying spending tens of thousands of dollars on the program? What career opportunities will have you have to justify the costs?

Honestly, I don’t have much knowledge about that. I just followed my consultant’s advice, they just said me to reply for the same course in same intake. So, if I order GCMS note it will take time. I’m very confused right now, I will be very thankful if you can help me in this situation.

So why do you need to come to Canada and take a general business course with no work experience? You need to justify spending all that money and show how your career will pay off all the costs.

Dump your consultant. They do seem incompetent. No one should suggest a "general business" program to anyone. Prepare to do extensive research on your own, determine your professional goal and chose a program accordingly. Stick with public institution, avoid extremely small and private ones. If you dont know why you are pursuing a program, you can not convince the visa officer to allow you to go study in Canada.

This is not only about your chance to have a new adventure in Canada, this is about what will define your future. So read, read and read from official sources, look at several educational institutions. Once you are confident with your choice, apply with that college/university, get admitted and then apply for a study permit. You dont need consultant, their job is basically just taking your money. You need a proper career orientation.

That means all the issue is the course that I have chosen. So, should I have to show my sources of income or assets in my home country? Is that will be helpful?

I really appreciate that. Thank you for your advice.

Can I have the clarification about that?
The issues are the course you have chosen (motivation) and your employment history.....You may have enough proof of source of income from your home country but it doesnt waive those two reasons....you can change course but employment history is difficult to overcome if officer stick to that

Your course choice is not well justified. With no work experience, a course like General business needs justification on career prospects back to India when you return and what is it that you will learn in Canada spending so much that you will apply when you are back home?

Consultants in India often encourage students to apply to any course randomly. So do your due diligence and reapply with

1. Either a different program that you can justify
2. Else find strong reasons to why this program and reapply

Best of Luck
