study visa from riyadh

I submitted my papers on july 17,2011 for study visa at riyadh office. Can anyone tell me how i will know about any progress. Will i get sms or email. Also, approx how long will it take?

you didn,t receive any sms or email from embassy till now

And I think they will take At least 2 months to Give you the result...So in which city and university you have Applied....

I got the study permit on 5 August and i applied on 13 June in CHC Riyadh so you have to wait for at least 6 weeks.

And some get a sms and some don't..doesn't make a difference

i also applied from riyadh on 13 july from alfifa i recived sms on 19 july that "your application has been recived and is uder processing" after that no any response from there...very difficult to wait ....if u recived any response please share with us

i applied from Riyadh and i dont think u can apply in jeddah ...

i got rejection before week ago,,

refusal points are

travel history (exit reentry which i forget to submit )

immigration status ( my father's tanazal is under process may be that's y)
