No, I don't know about that. I was just curious as you said you have to visit tomorrow and you still talked to guard. how?

Actually as per the information that I got form guard, he told me that inquiries can be made between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. , but I reached there at 9.30 a.m. today, so that why I was not allowed to go inside.

Lets see what will happen tomorrow.

how many people are waiting? can we count. I don't know why there are so many of threads for CHD. It can be merged into one, it helps in clearing the clutter.

I think approx 10-15 students,who are on forum have already applied are waiting and rest are still to apply.

Yes, chd related there are many topics but no new info.

I will be visiting Chandigarh embassy office tomorrow at 11 a.m.

But , guard(outside Chandigarh embassy) was saying that it is taking 20 -25 days now due to strike. :-(

28 business days over today at Chandigarh Consulate.. .. No response yet..

Please share your profile and let me know after visiting the visa office..

I went to sector 17 CHD Canadian embassy. I asked gaurd that I have to make an inquiry. He said give me the documents and wait outside. I waited there for almost half an hour. An lady(another guard) came out and told me that there is some problem with my medicals.I asked what is the problem as I hvn't received any email regarding the same, she said "there is something but she don't know, and the problem is no from my side, the problem is from their end".

Gist of the story :
1.You are not allowed to go inside.
2. Guards handles everything.
3. I don't believe them.

So, I will keep on waiting for the email. So, sorry guys no updates for you as they answer on the basis of the applicant. No generic comments were received.

Who will believe the information provided by the guard. I don't .....

So, keep on waiting till the email comes.

That's sad.. .. How come the guards know that there is some problem with the medicals!

No matter what we have to wait until the results are out or will wait for the email from Consulate.. Business days are passing like anything..

I have already sent the case specific enquiry from this link couple of days ago but no response yet..
