Hi, I'm 45 years old and having 19 years of total IT experience. I've completed B.E (Computer Science & Engineering) in the year 1995. Now I'm aspiring to apply Study visa to join M.Sc (Computer Science) in Canada. Please let me know whether I can apply for the study visa if I get admission in any College or University in Canada. As I've 22 years of Gap between my previous degree, I would like to understand whether it is possible to get a Visa by showcasing my Work experience to fill the Gap. Your kind advise in this regard is highly appreciated.

Hello sir.

It is really amazing to see your interest in pursuing studies after such a long gap.
As per getting Admissions into a college - where few courses are provided it looks fairly difficult but you can try for a University.
But, regarding getting admission into a University as well as getting study visa even though you get an admit from university, it will totally depend on you - how you will convince Univeristy selection committee and ViSA officer respectively with following points:
1. Why study after such a big gap.
2. How this study will help you in progressing in your career ?
3. At this age, you would be well settled , why will you study now & even if you want to study why Canada? Why not pursue in your home country ?
4. How sure you are to return back from Canada after studies.

I am sure you will know more points, I tried highlighting only few , to be included in your statement of purpose to Universities and letter of explanation to VISA officer.
One thing is sure - age is never a constraint towards pursuing studies.
Good luck and it is always better to try than repenting later "I should have atleast tried"

Warm Regards
