am supposed to start on the 6th of january as well but will only receive my visa end of january.. i will be at Laurentian, what about you?

I hope you are still able to meet up for the semester. I would think the embassy wi=ould see the urgency of the application based on the start of the school semester. I am registered to University of Saskatchewan

Apparently the 12 weeks estimate is the time it took the embassy to process the last application, so it doesn't really state it will take 12 weeks. I read that on the website.

Yes, If we lucky enough it can 7 weeks someone told me. I am starting 6 Jan .Was planning to be ther Dec 16 for orientation but dont think i will make it.
