Hello everyone,

I just got admitted to RDP as an open studies student. I am having some issues determining what my responses should be on my study permit request. I was asked this "is work an essential component of your studies? my response to this is "yes", however open studies doesn't include internship neither is it a co-op study so I do not know how to go about the evidence of work requirement in study. Please enlighten me on steps to take.

So why are you selecting yes then?

I would like to work while I school and I don’t know if selecting No would hinder that

Please, select NO. You'll still work part time while in school.

Select NO. As mentioned by @Fizhér , normally, depending on the conditions of a study permit, a student is allowed to work 20 hours a week on or off campus. You don't need a WP if your course doesn't have a Co-op component to it.

Please who should letter of intent or state of purpose be addressed to?
Also sponsorship letter, is there an address for it?

It will be included in your application so there is no address needed, start your letter with "Dear Sir/Madam" or whatever your normal way of starting a letter is when you don't have a persons name.
