Is there a way to speed up the study permit. Universities will start their session in the next two weeks. Needs a suggestion.

No way of speeding things up. The only thing you could do is, if your application has exceeded the current normal processing times, you can raise a webform asking for your filed to be reviewed but honestly, this probably won't do much.

At the end of the day, all you can do is wait...

No. When did you apply? What is the status of your application - medical, eligibility review etc.

As others have said, there is no way to speed up processing. If your study permit is not approved in time, speak with your school about deferring your studies to the next semester.

Do we get LOI after passport stamping?. What if we already have a valid travel visa ?.

Yes, that should be the case... the LOI should be received at some point while they are stamping your passport.

If you have a valid travel visa, you can enter Canada but you cannot start your studies until you have a valid Study Permit. Tourism visas do not allow you to study while in Canada.
