Hi,

Sharing my experience to get some suggestions.

I recently applied for Study permit which got rejected recently. I visited Canads previously as a visitor with my parents. Basically my parents and I had visitor visa.

Currently, my parents have super visa as my brother who is a Canadian Citizen applied for super visa for them.

I applied for study permit for a foundation program which is for 1 year. I am currently 17. I completed my olevels in my home country and applied for my foundation in Canada which is a 1 year program.

In Mt explanation letter, I mentioned that my parents do have super visa and they are going to visit my brother in Canada for a year. Meanwhile, I will be completing my 1 year foundation.

Well, my visa got rejected reason:
The purpose of my visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

Also said, you are welcome to reapply if you can response to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements.

Now, is there anyone who was in my situation and reapplied again?
I would like to get some of your thoughts and advice. I am not sure if I should apply for my study permit visa again? If yes, what supporting documents should I provide?

Thanks in advance.

Your ties to Canada are extremely strong which works against you. Your planned program of study in Canada is also not strong. This makes IRCC concerned that your primary reason for coming to Canada is to remain long term.

My recommendation is not to apply again for the foundational program. I would recommend you wait and get admitted directly to a bachelor program at a public university and then apply again once you have this acceptance letter.

Thank you so much for replying me. I have few questions:

1. If I apply again for the foundation program for next semester. My sponsorship will be my brother. However, if my brother provides me with supporting documents saying that I will be studying for a year and will be returning home. Will that be a good reason?
2. Second question, I am 17 years old. If my parents visiting my brother for a year. With whom will I stay? Since I am dependent on them. How can I explain this situation to the officer that if my parents visit my brother for a year, with whom will I stay back home as I am 17 years old. Do you think if my brother who is a Canadian Citizen can mention this in the letter will it help my application?

Please explain me on this two points I am thinking to use to reapply. I could be wrong but just looking for options since the university will not refund my $1000 cad which is a public university as well. However, they can transfer the money to the next semester if I reapply.

Thanks in advance for your time.
