One of my brother applied for Express Entry but due to some reason his eligibility didn't get fit into the criteria. Now he wants to pursue Canada on Student Visa. Will there be any issues or chances of getting rejection because Express Entry application?

I applied on April 2020, and my acceptance letter will expire after 4 days.
Do I have to send them the updated one before expire OR wait till IRCC request for it.?
