We can't help you based on this information. You'll need to wait until you receive the formal decision and this should indicate why you failed the eligibility assessment. There are many different reasons why you may have failed eligibility (not picking a DLI, failing to provide evidence of status in your country of residence, etc.).

Just to add - I assume you weren't planning to start school in September given how late you submitted the application. So you still have time until January to fix the problem.

Also $15K typically isn't enough to cover a year of studies and also living expenses. Is this all you showed? Did you provide anything else?

Hello, thanks for replying.. i sent the acceptance letter of the school.. and also its a program of 24 weeks of study and 24 weeks of co-op work.. i sent letter that my parents and i have an own property in my country that is Dominican Republic.. the program i applied is going to start in November.... the 15K are funds of myself but i sent many bank statements of money that have my parents, because they are paying my living expenses.. Also sent the proof that i paid for the program that is CAD 8K, that includes the whole program tuition, the materials, the registration and also a month in advance of homestay including the food... and in fact i am doing this with a student office of programs in my country, where i had to sign a contract, that if i get the visa, i have to return after the program is finished.

i can not think in any failed eligibility, i just have to wait my passport and thinnking in the case of ¨ties¨ as i said before i have an own property and also being the only child of my parents, and as they linked my US info, i have plenty of family in the US as permanent residents and citizens, so i have more chances to be tied to my homecountry and the US were i have family, that in a coutnry that i literally have none.

im just really frustrated, and i just wanted that they showed me the final decision only, so i could check if i could apply again or not, because i already made an huge investment in this diploma.... :(

its called ¨Program essential skills for hospitability, service and tourism¨ with Tamwood Careers in Vancouver.. its linked to my background because i worked in call centers, currently working as pricing coordinator and customer service.. i have a degree in international business including tourism.

Are you sure the co-op is 24 weeks and the program is 24 weeks? If there's any chance the co-op is longer than the program - that would disqualify you from obtaining a study permit.

Also - I'm assuming you have no plans on remaining in Canada long term or applying for PR. If by any chance you do, this program is an extremely poor choice. You won't get a post graduate work permit once you're done and it will be very difficult to qualify for PR. You need to pick a public college if you want to make sure you qualify for a PGWP.

yes, its 24-24.. the school explained it well in the letter, that i would be stuying for 6 months and after i passed the 6 months course, id need a work permit for the co-op work practice for 6 months, and also they have all that information in their website, etc.

not, i dont have plans staying in Canada or applying later for PR...i just wanted to have this experience there and then go back to my home in front of the caribbean sea xD
