Hello, I have a few questions about Canada study permit eligibility.
Unfortunately, due to some family troubles and my stupid young mind at that time, I dropped out of my local school.
At this moment I'm 20 years old, soon turning 21 years old and really want to study.
I'm planning to take the GED, SAT and of course IELTS.
I want to know if someone who didn't attend high school, but took these exams and got a study permit.
I'm pretty sure I will get the IELTS required score, also I will do my best to get the rest of the certificates I mentioned above.

Also, i have strong financial prove, enough money for the full program length and living expenses on my bank account (collected in last 6 months or more)

Not strong hometies (Family situation)

Apartment on my name.

Job offer saying i will get a nice job in a big construction company in my home country.

Is all that enough to cover my school background mistake?

P.S. Married and my spouse will accompany me to Canada. (Hopefully if i get the permit)

Thanks to everyone who will give me a small idea about it, best regards and good luck to all of you.

What do you plan to study in Canada? Why are you coming all the way to Canada vs. completing this education in your home country? What have you been doing since dropping out of school and until now?

I would say that your profile is going to be challenging since you didn't finish high school. No, I wouldn't say that the job offer is necessarily enough to cover the school background mistake. That will be up to the officer who reviews your application.

SAT is not required for every Canadian University, but as some universities prefer SAT.

So in case you have given SAT Math online , SAT Reading Online , SAT Writing Online and have scored well it adds to your profile and gives good weightage to your application.

To understand better there is a basic admission procedure that is followed by Canadian Universities as follow-

1- To apply for Undergraduate you have to be 12th pass

2- SAT is one of the major requirements to get admission into universities in the United States of America (USA), but as mentioned before Canadian Universities do not take SAT but still there are many universities which take SAT score.

3- LOR- Letter of recommendation is required which if applying at school level can be taken from either School counselor or Subject teacher.

4- SOP- Statement of Purpose is a statement that defines your purpose of taking admission in college and course that you have opted.

5- Also it is important to know that there are certain universities like McGill University, University of Toronto, University of Bahamas that prefer SAT subject tests and IGCSE , ACT and IELTS scores as well.
