Study permit with family

Anybody who applied study permit for fall 2020 along with family? I applied for masters program at Dalhousie university in the month of April. No decision has been made yet. What i am thinking is, ircc is holding the result of such family application Or i am wrong?

Hi, I know someone from Malaysia who submitted her SP application last February via SDS with her husband (owp) and kid (trv). They got FULL APPROVAL (not AIP) last June. Lucky ones.

Someone from the PH applied last May and got full approval in July. Regular Online. She has biometrics already, done in the past.

so far they’re the only ones I know who got full approval.

I also applied with family via non SDS here in the UAE last July 18, 2020. Biometrics updated on Aug 23 when I sent a webform inquiring on the same. No other updates.
