I have been admitted to the Fall intake for my post-grad program. My real brother will also be travelling to Canada in the same intake, but in a different province/university. He already has his Study Permit approved. So, while filling out my Study Permit, in the "Family Information" form (imm5645e), what do I select in the column "Will accompany you to Canada?"

Also, there is a question on the CIC website "Are you accompanying a family member that has status in Canada, or has recently been approved to come to Canada?". Should I say YES in this?

I am really confused, really appreciate any help. Thanks in advance. :)

He is not accompanying you, as he is not your dependent. Your trip is independent of his. You should say NO.

okay, thank you. But for this question - Are you accompanying a family member that has status in Canada, or has recently been approved to come to Canada?

Do I say yes, as he has been approved to come to Canada, recently?

The question is not related to if you are travelling with a family member. But it purely about if you are accompanying (i.e their dependent) with someone in your family with a status. Since your trip is independent, so answer should be no.

The answer will be most likely 'No'. Just to be safe, explain this situation in your SOP.
