Study permit while in canada

Hello,

Just wanted to find out if its possible to apply for a study permit while in Canada, last year I applied for and got a multiple entry visa visitor which I used to travel for 2 weeks in Canada to do sight seeing and tour college that I got accepted in.

I am back home and planned to travel still month and stay for 2 months in Canada so I wanted to know if I can apply for the study permit while on my visitor visa, I'm not sure if its possible or not or I need to come back to my home country to apply.

Your study permit cannot be processed from within Canada. It has to be sent to a visa office outside of Canada.

What about it? It's not relevant - it won't let you change your status from visitor to student from within Canada. Again, your application needs to be sent to a visa office outside of Canada.
