Study permit visa process

Dear friends, I and my spouse did our biometric for study permit and OWP 18 days ago in London and at the same day our profile updated with the biometric details. Since then, nothing has happened, we havn't recieved any message from CIC. I was wondering if it is normal process? Usually how long after the biometric thet start to process the applications?

Thanks, but as my semester will start on January 22. is it possible that they do not process my application until then?

Wow. I’m aware it will take longer to process applications but never thought they meant that long! That made me concerned. I submitted my study permit on July 27th and biometrics on July 29th and still waiting to hear from them.

Biometric done : 18 Aug
AIP : 3 September

You can also take rejection due to eligibility reasons...(not only biometrics, criminal etc.)
