Study permit: University : Processing time any idea in INDIA

How long does it take to get study permit for university, as
it is only showing one thing, it is being processed at New Delhi office, for more information call VAC or mail

i appled offline, on 3 june and recieved no update since, file has been transferd to canada visa office on 6 june
my medical was done upfront.

Any help will be appreciated

I have applied from india, i guess processing time is different for different places
I have applied for memorial university newfoundland

A known applied his study permit on 8 June via Canam Consultant (Mumbai Branch)
Online Application, and he received his visa approved today 15 June.
Study permit under University Category
In Vancouver Island University for MBA Program.

He was lucky

Their are 3 categories for study permit
which is basically is the checklist you include

1- University category (sory i am not geting currently)
2- SPP Category (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5961e.pdf)
3- Generic (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5818E.pdf)

I guess that's fastest this season ...I have also applied through canam Kolkata. It is paper based.
Mine is Concordia university. hope I hear from them soon.

I know a person, who got SPP study permit in just 3 days but he applied in early may
when did you applied ?
