I have applied for my SP online through a lawyer in Canada. I live in the U.A.E. I applied on the 13th of August 2020 and biometrics done on the 18th, GC account shows biometrics completed on the 19th.

Interview not needed
Background check: We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if this changes. Is this normal part of the process that all students get background checks? or maybe its because I was in Canada in 2009 for more than 3 month and have a UCI?
