Study permit sent to Los Angeles

Hi Guys, Did anyone apply for a study permit sent to Los Angeles? Please give me some updates, I applied for a study permit on October 10, 2013 and I've not heard anything yet. Hoping to start school on January 5th.

I also applied online on the 10th of October 2013 to LA. Still haven't heard anything or received any update (even on myCIC) and school starts on the 7th of January. I pray something good comes out of this week.

as I have to apply from outside Canada, USA-LOS ANGELES for example ...
please, can anybody tel me how can I do that ?
can I apply online to Los Angeles CIC office ?
have I go physically to there or to the borders ?

you can apply fior student permit inside canada as well.

I came recently to canada on a visit visa. I like to study a MBA From a university in Vancouver. I am still trying to find a university that have a 2 year programme. But what I need helped about is that I don't want to apply for my student visa from my country. Cause they have issued only 7 student visa's for the entire year from my country.

1. So I want to find out does the LA and New York visa office still in operating?
2. Cause I heard that Seattle and Buffalo office are not functioning anymore. Am I correct?
3. I hold at the moment a multi entry visa to canada for 2 years. so will they except my papers in LA or is it a must to apply from my country?
4. If I can apply from LA, can I send my papers via regular mail or online ?
5. Or do I have to go in person?
4. If I am to send my papers while I am in canada, do I have to send my passport along with my papers.

Please advise. As I need your help.

1. Yes, but unless you are from Bermuda, you would have to apply to Los Angeles.

3. You have to have visitor status in Canada to apply to LA.
4. You have to apply on line or in person, if you require to submit Bio Metric data see: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp you have to apply on line and you will have to attend an ASC office in the US.
