Hello hoping I can get some insight on my situation I applied under TR to PR pathway under health care stream A, I was on study permit (expired on October 31st 2022).Before expiration I applied for OWP under the public policy, I got a rejection on November because I didn't submit IELTS scores, immediately applied for restoration on November 24th, +work permit. I still haven't heard anything back from IRCC they told me to stop working or studying which I haven't been since I was on maternity leave until April 2023.
I was a nurse in my country and I almost getting a job as nurse here. So my question is do I wait for the restoration? I know if I leave canada the application is closed
Or should I leave Canada and after getting a job offer apply for Closed work permit outside canada? I can't afford staying here anymore with a baby. And my PR process is on hold because I don't have status.
Will this impact anything when entering back to Canada, I have a valid TRV multiple entries expiration date in 2028
I have a feeling that my restoration will be denied

It is up to you but if you can’t afford to remain in Canada don’t see many options. Wouldn’t recommend working illegally if you are trying to get approved for a WP or PR. Most healthcare organizations, with the exception of probably nursing homes, will usually want to see that you have a valid SIN#, WP, etc. The same may be the case for licensing boards if you aren’t licensed yet in the province.

Thanks for your response, definitely I have never worked, I was on parental leave receiving benefits.
Yes am already licensed as an RN recently by BCCNM, and given authority to do NCLEX. So I just have to look for an employer.
I guess I just want to know if I leave Canada will my TR to PR application get affected in anyway?
Can I leave before I hear back on my restoration?

Shouldn’t have impact on your TR to PR. You should need to inform IRCC that you left Canada because a restoration won’t be valid if you leave
