I am student of SFU(BC) pursuing MSc
I was busy in collecting data for thesis, So missed the deadlines to enroll in university for first term (Jan 2016)and forgot to submit leave applications for the second term(April 2016). All these time I was staying in Canada.

I went to reactivate my status in the next term (Sep 2016), I get to know that I am not enrolled as student since Jan 2016.
I hold a valid study permit extension till JAN - 2017.

I got to know from university that as I am not a student any more and my study permit is not valid now. I have to go back to india and apply for readmission in University and the renew the study permit. I am not aware of the validity of the study permit.

I am India . Now If I apply for Study Permit to CIC then, Is there any chances of Rejections.
I have almost completed my thesis and I have to just present it. I dont want to withdraw my MSc due to Visa Issues.

Any one is aware in the forum with similar scenario to give a workaround to get a VISA approved?

Will CIC validate this data if I reapply for study permit that I stayed there with out a full time student?

Did you work off campus at all in 2016?

Also, as an FYI, your study permit was automatically canceled 90 days after you were no longer enrolled in school.

No I did not pursue any study in Canada nor worked anywhere.

I was working remotely and missed the deadlines due to health issues. My status withdrawn because I could not enroll for the university for two terms.

Now my question is I have to go to Canada for six months or less to complete my thesis .
Though I was not aware of this Immigration process.

Will CIC validate about my unintentional stay with valid study permit, If I wish to reapply for visitor visa or study permit to stay there six months or less.

What can I do to approve my VISA

Hello,

At present I am pursuing my Master in Oil and Gas Engineering in Canada. I am also working part time in fast food industry. Once I am done with my program, my employer is ready to give me a assistant manager job opportunity. As faf as I know the PGWP is a opne work permit and I can take the job in fast food industry, but the question is, would I be able to apply for PNP or PR based on this job offer or not? Please let me know!

You need to obtain another study permit if you want to return to Canada to complete your degree. You cannot do this on a visitor visa since your total course of study is greater than six months. You should explain your illness and provide evidence of your health issues in your application. Good luck.

Thanks scylla .

I do not have any evidence related to my health problems. I was not suffering from major illness . It would not have happened , if I would have applied leave on time. Now to get the visa approved . Should I explain the scenario and show strobg ties to my country such as my parents are there and their assets as a proof. Any affidavit declaring . I wont repeat this mistake again
