Hey guys,
I am Rachel from Malaysia. I have been rejected two times for my study permit application and the reasons are as follow:
1) based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. -- I have explained in my cover letter that even though I am Malaysian but I have spent most of my time overseas working in China. I am the legal person and CEO of a company(even though the business is hardly sustainable due to the pandemic, that is the reason why I think taking a gap year to pursue an MBA program is good for my company and my personal development). Also, I own a property in China and yet I still can't prove the officer I would leave Canada at the end of my study.
2) based on the purpose of your visit -- pursue an MBA degree. I have double degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Traditional Chinese Medicine but I have worked in financial and business industry for over 5 years. I am not applying for a diploma, but a master's degree in business.
3) based on your current employment situation -- I have provided my China company statement to prove that I am the CEO of the company.
I am not registered through SDS as Malaysian is not SDS program.
I heard the success rate for a study permit this year is quite tricky.
May I know what shall I do next? I have prepared 9 months for my GMAT exam and my MBA application but because of the study permit, I might have to give up on pursuing the degree.
Could anyone please advise me?
Thanks!
