Study permit rejected (second attempt)- advice?

I applied for a study permit first on Nov 23rd and got a rejection on Dec 4th and applied again on Dec 7th and got a rejection today on Feb 2nd. Please take a look at my profile below and share any advice that you might have in applying for the May intake.

Course: Seneca College /Post Graduate Diploma in Event Marketing- Jan intake
Bachelors: BA Hons in Communication Studies from York University in Toronto. CGPA- B
Language test: Didn't write the IELTS as I believe its not necessary if you have a Canadian degree however I did include results of the CELPIP exam and you can see the band below

I included my transcript and a letter from my program coordinator which she wrote for me highlighting the need for a BA and stated that it was an appropriate progression in my education. I also had a PGWP and I included work letters from my employer.

I am applying for CAIPS notes but I am looking to get some insight as to why exactly my application was rejected and how I could fix it for the May intake. My program options for the May intake are Government relations (sort of like PR with public affairs) or Hospitality Management.

I am hoping someone here, especially the seniors can shed some light on this situation and help me get it sorted. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you'd need to apply for a masters program rather than just a diploma. I personal feel B CGPA for a communications degree is low. That could've been the reason. Did you also show enough funds to cater to your diploma?

Yes, I did...I showed around 100K CAD in parent's account and showed them 15k CAD in my BMO account and other properties. I also paid the 1st semester fee and attached the receipt.

I looked at masters programs but in my field they are only thesis based and do not really provide any technical training which college does and have a co-op program to boot. I mentioned in my SOP that I was looking for more hands on training as opposed to research and writing. Do they just not approve diploma programs even if they are post grad? Shouldn't the level at which you are choosing to study suit your needs as opposed to the VOs?

I am just curious as to how much weight they place on previous grades/level of education because I see a lot of people getting approved for post grad/advanced diplomas with 50-65% pass marks but mine got rejected for a post grad program with a higher average.

That makes sense. Yes , I do accept the fact that even students with such low grades are getting diploma. As you already have a good undergraduate degree from Canada , I would strongly advice to work rather than doing a diploma which is literally useless. A degree is what most employers look for than a diploma .No wonder you see a lot of college students going back to their home country after completing their degree.
