Hi
After two rejections do you think it will be wise to apply for a 3rd time?First rejection was based on purpose of visit and 2nd one on purpose of visit and limited employment prospects in my country.I applied for advanced diploma in electrical engineering tech.I currently studied a Bsc hons in electrical engineering.

Depends on your full profile. Two rejections (in quick succession, I imagine?) is not a good thing.

Post your full profile, hard to say otherwise.

Doing 3 yrs degree in Electrical engineering Automation and this year its my final one.Applied for Electrical Engineering Tech Contrl Systems and in June got 1st rejection on purpose of visit. My agent here told me that my Letter of Explanation wasnt good and that may be becos also of my 3yrs degree.
I wrote a new LOE explaining my study plan and how it will help me secure a job in my country.I also told them that I intend to join my father who is a real estate developer and help him with new building tech such as smart houses .But now I get a2nd refusal with another readon as based on limited job prospects in my country. Is it advisable to ask for caips notes?

Yes, order your GCMS notes before you apply again.

theres no hard and fast rule on whether one should reapply again. just remember you will look very desperate in their eyes. however for purpose of visit its very obvious why they gave such a reason

you already have a bachelor in ee so why would you get a diploma in a roughly equipvalent field??? you need to explain to the vo for right now it just appears that you are just trying to get in canada to work after graduation through a pgwp (not a bona fide student) especially when the reason lack of employment prospects was also given.... which usually only happens to 3rd world countries

alternatively you can try changing your proposed course of study

But won't they also question why I changed my field of study say for eg I go for a Bachelor in computer engineering?Won't they question the progression line?Cos I think going for an MSc will nt hold gud as they already say theres limited job prospects in that field so y wud I go for MSc?Btw my country is a newly developed one as we have left the third world behind quite long ago

as i asked: why would your current degree not be good enough to secure a job in your country compared to a LOWER TIER advanced diploma???

as for questioning you why you changed your course of study - not all the time
Thxs again...I think all's messed up now...applying a 3rd time will really not look good at all

so you going to look for other countries? try australia its very easy to get in

or just wait a few years before trying again with a stronger case
Yes Australia seems good but I really prefer Canada ...there's no match.Well since I already have a degree maybe I should have tried through Skilled or Expresd Entry ...it wud have taken some more time but I think it wud have been worth the while....and also I wud have been able to continue my studies too.Anyway I'll keep on trying...btw won't that refusal twice play against in some yrs when I try again??

you have to say that you have been refused twice before for sure

as to whether it matters in your next application it depends on the vo and the exact reason. for example if you were refused before for misrep then obviously the vo will be less likely to approve compared to say simple things like a lack of money

Ok but I dnt think there's been any misrep or negligence or whatsoever expressly from my part....I was genuinely interested and really I wrote my LOE with pure intention....may be Ive been misguided here...like Ive said my agent should have told me to go for pg...he of all should have known...and even at the 2nd attempt he didnt!! Anyway...
