Hi, I've reapplied my study permit application as it was refused the very first time I applied. I've got many questions to ask. Please, can somebody help me with below doubts:

1. I applied for my visa again on 2nd august, how much time it will take? shouldn't it take less than 4 weeks as biometric and medical was already submitted when I applied for the first time?

2. Will I get a biometric letter again? as generally it takes 2 days of time and it's 3rd day today since I've applied and I haven't received anything regarding biometric. Status shows - its in process.

3. What is the probability of getting approval 2nd time? I've made my profile strong with justifying the reason for which it was rejected and have shown some more funds as well.
The reason for rejection was " I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit"

My classes will be starting from 3rd September 2019, is there any chance that I will get the final decision before that? really depressed, losing my all hopes.pls, help.

Don't be panic. There is no need of submitting biometrics again because biometrics once submitted have validity for 10 years. So don't bother about that. As per SDS, 20 days is the time frame within which you will get a decision from the VO. Only in worst case scenarios, it takes 20+ fays to get a decision. Don't worry, you will not be that unlucky. Hopefully you will get your visa on time so that you can attend your classes from day1.

It will take 18-20 days to get a decision. Though you have not submitted biometrics, you will again get the same letter with 10 years validity just prior to receiving your decision. Did you submit a strong SOP 2nd time. Because SOP will be the main document to convince the VO to give you the visa

Hi, Yes I made it strong according to me and plus my consultant has also helped me in that. I've justified the reason as well. Let's hope for the best

Thanks, Arjun! but it's really depressing after giving all the money and GIC and everything. It's quite strange to get a refusal on a study permit. All my friends have got approval. Anyways, any idea about the probability of getting rejection again?

Don't know about the probability of rejection. But this time your probability to get the study permit will definitely increase because since this is your second application, the vo will check your application much carefully than before and since you have already did better documentation this time, most probably you will get your visa. So don't worry.

Hi Priya,

Even I got reject for my first application ,even I am pretty dissapointed as after such efforts put into it.

I am trying to reapply within few days.

Can you please help me with SOP and what changes you have made to it.Email ID : saiteja3333@gmail.com

My reject reasons were :

->I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
->I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.
->Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your level of establishment,
financial ability and I am not satisfied you are a genuine student and that you will depart Canada
at the end of your authorized stay.

Hey, I think nowadays the 20 days SDS limit is out of the window.
I applied way beforehand. 12th July and still haven't gotten my final decision.
I think the VO's are taking way too much time because of the load of the application.
Wish you all the best though. Keep us updated <3

Hello , i applied under sds category and completed all the requirements of the sds category i.e
* Paid the fees of full one year.
* Paid GIC
I applied on 22nd july and got a rejection on 8th august . The reason for the rejection is as quoted
" Having reviewed overall financial documentation provided in support of your application, i am not satisfied that you have sufficient financial resources to finance the cost of your studies in canada. Application refused under R216(1).

Dont know what has just happened......

Hi, got my VISA Yesterday !!!! :)
Congrats and all the Best.
Did you submit SOP as well along with your application for Visa? Is it mandatory? My brother has got an admit from Conestoga PG program and ready for Visa now. Is it required for him to submit SOP?

Thanks in advance.

Hi My univ has told me to take admission in a college in canada as my marks are very low in 12th and graduation also 50% and 54% respectively

"Hello,

At a quick glance of your documents I am afraid we would not be able to consider you for admission for 2020. This is primarily based on your math and English grades and your and the average you possess in your degree which is approximately in the 50% range.

I would highly recommend should you be interested in studying in Canada to pursue a college diploma and then potentially transfer to the university once you complete that credential and meet the admissions average. More information about colleges in Ontario can be found at ocas.ca.

" What should I do now dilpoma program requires same visa but I have problem creating the CIC profile consultant is giving me bullshit crap advice .
Thanks I am 33 years old and have 4 years work experience .in bpo and digital marketing.
