Hi Everyone.
I am from Albania. 24 years old.
I have applied for a study permit and refused for this reasons:
  • The VO is not satisfied of my travel history ,( i've been traveld in Italy , Greece , Turkey , Montenegro, Kosovo for tourism.
  • The VO is not satisfied based on the purpose of my visit. (don't understand what this means)
  • The VO is not satisfied based on my personal asset and financial status, ( i own an apartment with 50.000 CAD value , a car with 5.000 CAD value , bank account 7.000 CAD , business in IT Field .)
  • VO said : Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of: your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans. (i have applied at Humber College in Computer and Network Technician. i have the invitation letter , also i have finished college in Network administrator and got lots of certificates in IT Field , CISCO , LINUX , CYBERSECURITY. Also i have 3 years of working experience in IT Field. The reason i choosed the Computer and Network Technician program at Humber is that i want to advance my knowledge in networking , servers , databases etc., and also i think that a canadian college will be a good value for my future in my country. My Toefl score is 82 points.
  • VO is not satisfied based on the limited employment prospects in your country of residence. (don't understand what this means.)
  • VO said:
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the
IRPR, based on your current employment situation.

. ( i have 3 years of experience as a network technician and teacher in IT Field. also as i mentioned above i own a business since august 2017 in the IT Field. )

Your finances are definitely a problem. To be approved, you need to have a bank balance of at least $25K to cover your first year tuition plus living expenses. This money must be available - it cannot be tied up in a car or apartment. Your lack of available funds alone are enough to guarantee a refusal.

What documentation did you provide to prove this?

Generally speaking, CIC prefers that either the applicant has the money themselves or that they are sponsored by an immediate family member like a mother or father.

employment letter of paternal uncle with annual salary wich is high enough and letter of confirmation that he will cover all my expenses

That's not enough. He also needs to provide a bank statement that contains a balance of at least $25K (preferably significantly more).

No - I don't think it will be enough. I think you need to make your whole application stronger.

I think you need to see how you can provide stronger ties to your home country and better explain why you want to take this program in Canada through a statement of purpose letter.

I would recommend you join the International Students section of the forum and read through the post there.

Thank you ! it was very helpful this information to me. A last question: Does my appartment , my business and my actual job , are considered to be good connections with my home country?
