I applied for a 2 year study permit in Nova Scotia Community Collage in Halifax, Nova Scotia This was the response from Citizenship and Immigration Canada.

1) You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

> family ties in Canada and in country of residence
> purpose of visit

Note: I have visited Canada prior to this application, to visit my sibling there and for a campus tour of NSCC.

2) Other reasons: You are currently attending university level. No compelling reason for you to interrupt your studies to go to Canada.Proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more:future prospects, other educational opportunities, level of establishment

Note: I intended to change my current field of study to one that suited me more in NSCC.

Clearly, your explanation didn't convince the visa officer. You would need to have logical reasons to study in Canada. Share your profile please?
