Hello,
My study permit got refused and I got the following reasons from IRCC:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your qualifications, level of establishment, previous studies, academic records, and/or your future prospects and plans. You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.

I got admission in Seneca college for International Business Management Course for Sep 21. My IETLS overall score is 8. I have 8 years of total work ex in market reserach with 5 years of team and project management experience in various roles. I have BE in electronics and telecommunication but my entire working experience is in market research and management positions which is why I opted for this course. Could someone please help me with advice on how to address the above two points in my re-application? Would really appreciate some guidance here.

Order GCMS notes to find full explanation. Purpose of visit is a broad term that could mean many things based on your individual profile. Officers don’t feel an IBM course which is popular for international students is relevant to your education or career growth. You have 8 years experience in market research and 5 years in PM so why do you need to spend thousands on a generic course in Canada? It makes no sense. Why not a MBA program given your work experience rather than a PG course? Also were you a poor student?

Can anyone suggest to me what to do if the Canadian embassy in India does not reply or respond?
I applied on 19 December 2020 with my spouse.
Our review of eligibility started on 04 March 2021. Since then there is no update and progress. Does anyone have any idea what I can do in this situation?
