Study Permit Questions!

Hi everyone,
I have some concerns regarding to my study permit. My study permits expires at the end of March in 2013, and I am currently in Associate of Arts in Psychology program, which is expected to end in spring 2013. However, I wish to pursue the Bachelor Degree, but in order to do so, I have to complete the Associate of Arts first, and there's no way I could finish my program prior to March 2013. And after checking the conditions of study permit renewal, I found out that I have to provide them the intended start date and the expected end date of a program.
So my questions: Can I still get my study permit extended provided that I'm still going to school and will eventually get to the Bachelor program AFTER I sent my application? Do I have to get into the Bachelor PRIOR to the expiry date to get my study permit accepted? I'm afraid that if I won't get into the Bachelor program, they will just look at my Associate of Arts end date and deny my study permit.
Thanks In Advance.

Hi,

1. If you are still in Associate of Arts program, apply for the extension of study permit, if approved, it shall remain valid upto the course completion date + 90 days.
2. In case you start bachelor degree program when your application for extension is under processing, update Case Processing Centre-Alberta with new LOA/Information, otherwise apply again for the extension.

Hi...
I was wondering if anyone can help me for the process of getting my study permit. I am a British Citizen and would like to know the process of getting a study permit?
Is it possible I can get my study permit on the port of entry in Canada and I don't need to go through an embassy?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Thnx :)

Hi,

1. Actually, you do not need a TRV to enter Canada, but you need a permit to work/study in Canada and for that, you must apply outside Canada. You won't get it at port.
