Hello all! I was reading about the proof of funds for the study permit, I was going to ask for a loan but a free investment credit and reading the IRCC it states that the loan must be educational "proof of a student or education loan from a bank", do you consider this a problem for the visa?? Is that strict??

The problem with a regular loan is that it must be paid back, but you need to be able to spend the money in Canada. An education or student loan is different because those generally allow you to wait until after you graduate to begin repayment.
I never thought about that!!! I am planning to apply in two weeks!! I am going to check how easy is to get a Student Loan in my country, Thank you!!
