Study Permit on a visitor Visa

I applied for Study permit on 12 July, 2018 and did my biometrics on the 17th of July at Nigerian Visa office Abuja, I am yet to receive an update.My status keeps showing under process. The processing time for Nigeria keeps increasing weekly. Please what can one do? To contact IRCC or keep on waiting. Currently I am in Canada on visitor visa, I thought my case would be decided very fast.

Yes, I applied online and it's taking a pretty much longer time to process.My deadline to submit the Permit is fast approaching.

No updates, even the email correspondences doesn't reaĺly help, they would refer you to check your mycic account for update. Account does only say " we are processing your application that they will message you once there is an updates". It is only background check that is in process now. My eligibility is in progress. Seems because of the visitor visa I had already, eligibility would not be reviewed. Everything is complicated. I am tired of this their long process.
