Study permit - Need Advice

Hi Friends, need one help.

I got a letter of acceptance from the college I applied for jan intake and I applied for a study permit on October 29th - Non sds from Singapore. Completed biometrics on November 2nd. I didn’t take any upfront medical at the time I applied study permit.

I was waiting for update till November 20, since no update on my application status, I took a upfront medical (I thought it will speed up the process) and sent the medical information sheet through webform as suggested by clinic on November 25th. Clinic also informed me they generated UMI number and informed ircc about my medical.

But on December 1st, I received medical request from ircc with IME number. And I raised one more webform to inform ircc about my upfront medical and sent the details again to them.

I requested clinic to map ime number generated by ircc to umi number generated by clinic but they told they couldn’t map like that..

I received an acknowledgment for my webform stating that they received the document and sent to relevant officer on December 22nd

On Jan 1st week, my medical status got updated to “We did not receive the results of your required medical exam. Check your medical exam request message below for details.”

I was disappointed and raised one more technical webform and another webform with the medical sheet again with details.

No update from ircc so far.. I had to differ my course to may because of this.

Looks like I made a mistake taking upfront medical after submitted my study permit application.

Now I don’t know what to do and no clue whether my medical get updated or not or get rejected after 90 days stating that medical results not updated..

I need an expert advice whether I continue wait or withdraw the application and submit new application with upfront medical.

Why can't you take a new medicals with the request letter from ircc. Your medicals get updated in 3_4 days instead stressing yourself. Matter of money.

I checked with the Clinc and they told they cant retake the medical and informed me they updated ircc with the medical information.

For IRCC to reply with a follow up response of not receiving the medical test results makes the situation dicey and tells of their continuous professional lapses.

This is my advice:

1. Write a brief LOE citing the name of the hospital and date of the test coupled with other helpful information at your disposal and attached the e-medical slip. This time, forward via CSE and to all the emails of the VO responsible for handling applications from your region. If there is still time since the medical request, give it like a week or as the case may be to see if a response would be received.

2. Re-do medicals.

I did exactly as per the first suggestion last week..my medical got updated yesterday and received BVL today. Thanks..
