Did anyone here apply for study permit for January 2022 intake from Jamaica? I want to be able to track the timeline

Yes... I am not from Jamaica but I use its VAC. I applied on the Oct 26th. Have any of you gotten any news?

Hi all...I got approved today!!!! Here's my timeline:
App submitted: Oct 26th 2021
Biometrics: Oct 29th
Ghost updates: Nov 9 and 10 (Background check and Review of application started)
PPR- Dec 1!

I am in my second year and started my studies online in Fall 2020. I had two refusals before...The latest one was purpose of visit and financial status. For the former I wrote a letter addressing reasons why I would come home and the latter I paid my full tuition and room and board, showed 8000CAD in my parents' account, my entrance scholarship and a sponsorship letter from my dad's work that was notarized with a bank letter saying that they would help me where my parents could not.

Hope this helps! Also I am a believer and Christ reallly came through for me!
