Study Permit Issuee

Hi everyone,
I'm an international student from Italy and i'm studying at Seneca college right now. I want to go for 2 weeks in Italy to visit my parents for Easter. Now i have a question, Can i go there? I have this question because my study permit says " This do not authorize the re-entry". I really do not want to lost my study permit. Do i need extra documents? My study permit is valid until August, 2014.

If you are an Italian citizen, you are fine. That warning is for students from NON visa exempt countries who require a TRV (Visitor Visa) to enter Canada.

I would suggest you to contact International Student Department at your college and ask them questions. It would be better if you confirm everything before you leave.

I recently talked with them and they said that i do not need nothing other than Passport and Study Permit.

But i want to be sure about is that's why i'm asking you.

does your study permit say " this does not authorize re-entry" if so then you have to apply for a single or multiple entry TRV, if you are from a visa exempt country then you do not need one. ( study permits are not made to authorize re-entry , they only for study purpose)

I disagree.

If the visa says no re-entry than that means no re-entry. No point arguing with the IO at point of entry on your return when he refuses you entry that you did not know!! Its a no brain scenario!

Before leaving Canada you need to apply for a multiple entry visa.

The other scenario is that you are not telling the truth, you have been previously banned or deported etc and have lost your visa exemption and need to have a TRV in your italian passport, in which again you need to apply for a multiple entry before leaving.

The other scenario is that you do not have an italian passport and are telling us a load of porkies!!!

I'm an international student from Bangladesh. I am studying at London School of Business & Finance (London Campus) right now and my subject is ACCA. Recently my college open a new campus at Canada. My college told me that they provide all necessary papers to go Canada. So I need to submit my application.
Please note that I have a 20000 CAD bank fixed deposit in Bangladesh which is my wife account.

Mostak. Stop being so lazy and get off your lazy bum and do some research yourself regarding your situation. If you than have specific questions or dont understand something than post the question. Why is it that so many students are so lazy? Do they simply want to be spoon fed?
