Hi there,

As far as I'm aware if your Study permit was issued after March 18th you cannot enter Canada.

The Canadian government appears to of changed the wording on this page though: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/visitors-foreign-workers-students.html

The language used is ambiguous.

"If you’re an international student who has a valid study permit, or were approved for a study permit on or before March 18, 2020, you’re exempt from the travel restrictions."

It says at the start "If you’re an international student who has a valid study permit" OR "were approved for a study permit on or before March 18, 2020"

Does that mean I can enter with my valid study permit that was issued after March 18th?

I'm thinking it's just a poorly written sentence. Has anyone else thought about this?

Best,
