STUDY PERMIT:INTERVIEW CALL:VISA APPROVAL FROM CIC

I applied for study permit on 20th June.

On 13th June I received a mail from my consultant that I am called for an interview at CIC High Commission, Delhi. I was asked to carry all originals as well as my passport.

But on 14th June, I received a mail from CIC(not from the counsellor) that my CIC has arrived at a decision and my passport need to be submitted within 30 days of receipt of this letter.(this mail & the attachment has the exact words that my friend received and got his visa stamped)

Now, the question is: Whats really going on?? Should I attend the interview? Does the mail for interview not come in myCIC account?? How did my counsellor get the mail and I didnt?

Please help!!

I have the same issue. I got a mail on 13th July that I need to attend an interview on 26th at 1 pm. The best part is i have already submitted the passport before 13th and got it back today with the visa stamped. My Online application status is "Closed" and doesnot have any message regarding the interview. So, even I am confused whether I have to attend the interview. Please let me know if you get any kind of clarity on this. Also, from which email id you received the message and when is your interview slot?

It's looks like your consultant is joking with you guys . If you guys were called for interview , why they issued you visa before that . I don't think you guys need to go for that . I recieved telephonic interview and they just asked few question and recieved my passport next day with visa stamped . I never heard any case like you guys before

They asked me program start date , when would you like to go if they issue me visa and which program do you enrol.
