No, I haven’t. I’m really concerned about that, because the classes start next month and I’ve been waiting since April.. I haven’t done the biometrics, and when they announced that it would be waived I got happy but no answers until now
Biometrics are mostly for 10 years. If you gave out biometric before since I believe you are in Canada under visitor visa, no need to worry at all.
if you were not required to do that, then, definitely they will not require you to do it. Just chill.
I have applied for Study Permit as a In-Canada applicant on 30th July 20. I am staying on OWP.
People outside Canada has been receiving the approval in principle to study in their countries... but here no signal from IRCC. There are many people waiting...
I have talked them twice but received standard reply mentioning that processing time provided on the website is not accurate as a result of Covid. They are working with reduced staff size to process the applications so it is not possible for them to even confirm tentative timeline of completion.
