Study permit - help

Everyone I hope you are having a great day
I am so worried about my study permit i have submitted my study permit on 1st March and did my biometrics on 2nd March. Now more than 15 weeks has passed and i received no response from IRCC
On GCKey account :
• Review of eligibility
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
• Biometrics
We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details.
• Background check
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
On Tracker :
- Biometrics: In progress
- Eligibility: Not started
- Background: In progress

Non - SDS applicant

So am really feeling anxious about this and I don’t know what to do next

Why it’s taking more than double the processing time posted on the official website which is 7 weeks

That is an estimate for most applications. Can depend on where you live, country of citizenship, number of applications from where you are applying from etc.

One more question is it normal for my biometrics to be still in progress till now and on GC key shows not received and on tracker shows in progress for than 15 weeks , many applicants get updated within 2-3 days ?

that is not normal at all given after 15 weeks your biometric is still not uploaded, id suggest contact the office you provided biometrics in and follow up.

I did call VFS they said if the date of enrollment and biometrics number is shown in the applicant information then we did our part
