Hello to all the good people of this forum. I have just received a notification and POE letter that my study permit has been approved. In the POE letter it says many blah blah about satisfying a border official on things like health insurance and all that. My question for those that have gone through this process, what documentation do have to show at the POE besides the intro letter. Do I have to show that I have money for my up-keep as well. tuition fees receipts etc? Any information will be appreciated.

1. Letter of Acceptance.
2. Letter of Introduction.
3. A valid Passport with a valid TRV.

Hi friends. I need a help.
I applied for study permit to study in Alberta for fall intake and collected my passport from VAC with VISA sticker is pasted saying category: Student. However, I didn't receive the letter for study permit (Letter of introduction). Will there be any issue at the port of entry with regard to my study permit?. Urgent reply from seniors is highly appreciated.

Even if you dont get the letter of invitation from CIC, its not to panic about..

All the details are in their system and they will match your visa details on your passport to the ones on their system..

So no need to worry about that part. Canada border officials are friendly and can understand the students situation

Good Luck
