Gurus in the forum, please advice and give me preliminary foresight on handling this matter
My study permit is One year, my academic program (MSc.)is two years
What actually happened is that my International Passport is due to expire in a year and my academic program is 2years
I made attempt to renew or extend the expiry date, but the Nigerian immigration declined and said they would not until it expires
So I was forced to apply with that and the Visa officer limited my visa validity to a day before my visa expiration

What I'm I expected to face in renewing and extending my stay after I arrive Canada and how do I avoid falling into a problem with this issue

Generally study permit is approved for amount of time less than the study period and you have to renew that later. They do this to make sure that you extend your visa only the amount of time you require and hence you don't get extra permit period.

Since your passport will expire in a year, you will have to come back to your country in due time, get it renewed and apply for permit extension. Generally it is suggested that you should apply for extension of permit 2 months before it is about so expire so you will have to renew your passport before that.
