Hi,

I am in Canada on SX-1 visa, which allows to study for up to 6 months at a time. I am studying English, and was accepted to a program in the college. I applied for a study permit from within Canada, and it was refused. Reason - this type of application should be made from outside of Canada. Before I applied, I did an elegibilty test and determined that I can apply from within. Does anyone know what to do next? How bad is this?

According to your case i would rather suggest you to consult some immigration lawyer in canada and they can guide you well.

You need to apply through the visa office responsible for your home country.
