Study Permit From Qatar

When I opened my account there under current status it was: updated
And when i opened the application if found under Review of Eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

I have had this message since I submitted my application. I did not have the status "updated", while I received a letter from IRCC that says that I am eligible for the program and my application has been advanced further.

Can you guys share which college, which course you applied for??
Is your spouse accompanying you? How much money did you show as POF?

Maybe you're ahead of me, as my application since submitting it till today in the morning didn't have the review of eligibility started yet, so I'm glad that they started reviewing my application and hopefully I can hear good news soon.

Chef School in Ontario which is a practical school (9 months course) and I don't know how they will deal with the practical schools students.
I'm going alone and I showed almost 40k Canadian dollars in my parents bank account and mentioned that I plan to use almost 20k for my study time in Canada.

Ya. I too applied in non SDS
Medical same - I called gulf laboratory they asked me to come with that reference letter .

Same situation, applied in May and gave biometrics in July and absolutely no updates.

Hi, I applied April 9th and I got two correspondence letter. After the second one I got the medical request the next day which was June 4th. Just wait up it’ll soon come hopefully

Do we need to complete the first sem turion fees and GIC deposit before applying for study + co-op permit for Canada from Qatar ? Any good consultancy/agency who can guide to do the visa application in Qatar ?

I paid one year fee + GIC
Submitted offer letter for proof of co-op

I have no idea abt consultants in qatar

hey man you cant do upfront medical in qatar, apparently you need to wait for the embassy to request. The medical does not take that long, few days or a week thats it.

You can do upfront medical from GULF MEDICAL .there is only 1 medical center where they do medical examination for the Canada visa in QATAR

- April 9th Applied through VFS in Qatar.
- May 26th got correspondence letter through email.
- May 29th Linked application on GCKey
- June 3rd got correspondence letter on GCKey
- June 4th got request for medical
- June 9th passed medical.
- July 1st got another correspondence letter on GCKey
- July 3rd status changed to approved and submitted passport to VFS.
