Study Permit from Abu Dhabi

Hi everyone.

i was wondering for anyone who applied for study permit via abu dhabi. did anyone get any response yet?

i applied on February but still no reply... and it's the 3rd of May now...

i happen to find out that its common for such delays.

any replies would be great on this subject

Did you check the processing time for abu dhabi. Now its 16weeks . They have suddenly changed it last week . But i think you might get it within this month only. Keep us posted .
For which intake are you?
Btw i also applied yesterday for september intake!

I'm applying for September 2016 intake so i had to start processing as early as possible (January) because i heard rumors about delay's and i couldn't really believe it.
I mean just for you to apply for September 2016 u must apply even before 6 months ahead to organize your self !!!

Maybe they had many applications for may thats why they started yours late or something. When i went on monday to apply for mine . The cashier still said we have a lot of applications. So i am also expecting it to come no less than around in august only. The only problem will be the ticket will hike

When I went the cashier told me 4-6 weeks? He said that is the minimum time.. so I'm praying we hear back in 4 to 6 weeks and not more

Don't forget ramadan is coming up and they work for only two hours for one month. So considering that june is gonna be wasted . He told me till mid july as well but i am still considering it to be minimum processing time.

Also 4-6weeks in abu dhabi is impossible. It could be no less than 7-8weeks. Cic is not posting 16weeks for nothing. They want to prepare us for the delay

What do you think could be the reason why they're taking too much to work on those applications? would you please give me some sort of advice on how will I be able to get updates aside from waiting for emails. thank you and god bless

The only way by which you can know about your application is by tracking it online ,with the tracking number they provided you. Its been long time for you so you can expect it anytime now i suppose. Just be patient a little more. All the best!
