Study permit for me(Indian) and wife(US) for same university

Hello Folks,

Me and my wife got in to same school in fully funded programs. How should we go about study permit applications? Should we apply same time? Does someone has experience where both spouse got study permit for same term.

I think u should both apply separately , it would be simpler
